Update (7th of May, 2024). I finally finished this blog. I was enjoying myself so much during the trip, I didn’t keep the blog updated.
This trip was so good, I have to go again.
My foot is still sore with a sizeable bruise under the ball of my right foot, so we decided not to walk that much but take a day trip into Germany.
Got up at 6:30am and Clare started working. I started slowly on this blog.
We made our own coffee.
I headed down to the local boulangerie (baker) to buy a loaf of bread and some croisants.
We had ham and cheese croisants for breakfast and the girls sqeezed there own orange juice.

We woke up to our first full day in Colmar and surrounds. The opening picture is from Equisheim, which we went to in the afteroon, after we picked up our rental car.
Woke up around 7:00am and got ready for the day. Checked out where we could go and decided to go to Bistrot Gourmand for breakfast at 9:00am. It was ok, but nothing special ...
After 30 odd hours of travelling via Vietnam, we finally landed in France.
We breezed through Charles de Gaulle airport, caught the train to Strasbourg and then another to Colmar.
We're finally on our way ... Yay!
