Trebes to Carcassonne

A short trip into Carcassonne with only 7 locks. With yesterdays trip much longer than planned, that is, we stayed overnight at Trebes, todays trip was quite short and we ended up in Carcassonne by lunch and had a prime mooring spot just outside the docks facility building of showers, laundry and toilets, as can be seen in the opening picture above.

The lock at Chemin des Ecluses, Villedubert and the Hotel boat "Savannah".

Carcassonne

And we finally arrived at the fabled city of Carcassonne.

We went for a walk around town, caught up on our laundry at the facilities in the harbour and eventually went out for dinner in the main square that night. I think most of us had the entrocoute and fries (steak and chips), which was a little fatty, but overall pretty good. We didn't record any pictures of the afternoon.
