Today, we leave Akihabara, do a bit more shopping and then make our way to the Airport. The picture taken is when we first hopped onto the flight at Narita, when we were still awake and in good spirits. Note, the funny man :)
Today we leave The Grand Nikko Hotel in Tokyo Bay Mahaima (Disneyland). We have so much stuff (junk) that everyone has purchased. We try to cram everything into our bags, our new purchase bags and also boxes, and carefully juggle it all onto buses and trains into Tokyo.
We're buggered and put most of our luggage into Lockers at Tokyo Station ...
Today, we attempt to recover from all the activity at Disneyland and focus on last minute requirements before leaving Japan.
Today, we'll go over to the traditional Disneyland theme park.
Today we tackle DisneySea in Japan. Often regarded as the best themed Disney Park in the world. The whole world is themed around water.
Another day of travel. We plan to stop at Shibuya and see the Shibuya Scramble Square crossing and browse the shopping area.
We wake up to early morning light on Mt. Fuji and take the long stair case climb (400 steps) to the Chureito Pagoda.

Today, we are going to attempt the long walk to see the Snow Monkeys.
Today, everyone sleeps in and I try Skiing at 66 with dodgy knees and no experience since I was young.
Again, I didn't sleep brilliantly. Still stiff and sore from all the activity and would absolutely love a softer bed.
Had breakfast at 7:30am. Seemed a reasonable selection of Western and Japanese items and most of the family were reasonably happy with the selection; it was certainly better than the night time fare which was pretty ordinary.

Travelling to the Snow. We left the Traditional Japanese house in Kyoto and headed to Shiga Kogen, which is near Nagano.
Just a précis until I have time to pad this out.
Got up early at 6:00am
Went with kids to Osaka and they continued on to Universal Studios
Went to Yodobashi (and bought watch bands) and Don Quixote (not impressed and very noisy)
Went on the big red ferris wheel.
Just a precise of what happened, to be padded out.
Went shopping. Dumb idea.
The streets are packed with all locals going to the shrines
Shops are mostly closed.
Went home
Rested.
Went for a late walk
Went for dinner around the corner at a local cafe/pub
Bed.
